About Me :- David Williams welcome to Onlebooks,I live in Germany.

Located in Wengen a ski village East of the Bavarian Capital Munich.

With the Austrian and Swiss borders in very close proximity and are,

bounded by Lake Constance,or"Bodensee" as it is known in Germany.

Europes largest Lake is set in the most beauiful of German Regions.

Northern Ireland but

grew up in Mid Glamorgan

in a former South Wales

coalfield mining village

nestling in a small valley

in the town of Ynysybwl.

Now over 60 years young,

semi retired and enjoying an active life in the Bavarian Alpine Region.

My many interests including Internet Marketing,Formula 1,Rugby,

Travel,Music and Entertainment and just about anything High Tech.

How I came to Germany

As a Self Employed Builder in 1988 it was impossible to earn a living.

Customers for all of the houses I was building had dried up totally.

All Banks became unsupportive overnight,as interest rates soared.

Over 100000 other British construction workers came to work here.

My decision was to do an "Auf Wiedersehen Pet" and come over to

Germany to work as Oz & Co in that well known TV series had done.

Reality however,turned out to be far worse than that portrayed

on the screen in that famous cult series about brickies in Germany.

Getting ripped off was the norm,collecting bottle deposits to eat.

Sleeping under building site wagons and working in wet clothes.

Not everything was negative,determination to learn the language

and get better work,paid off,contracts were won on my own merit.

Money worries subsequently subsided,life was good for the time being.

Also becoming more proficient in German Building methods,helped.

But my marriage unfortunately failed due to me never being home,

but I have a wonderful family and many fond memories came out of it,

Thanks to Linda for bringing our children Andrew,Angela,Amanda

and Jason into the world for which I will be eternally grateful

I love you all for the happiness you have brought into my life,

Technology has always interested me intensly,the urge to learn

new things is still there in fact even stronger than my younger days.

Having bought a computer,tried out some internet marketing and

website building but without achieving any notable success.

Never give up though,a trait about me that is without a doubt

down to the Irish blood flowing through my viens(stubborn too).

Things changed quite by accident,when I did a Google search

on the subject "how to write an ebook"

Found a website belonging to Alf Pedersen,bought his ebook on

how to write and publish your own ebook using tools that can be

found on most computers obviating the need for major expenditure.

As it had always been a dream to write an ebook I became hooked .

The book had turned out to be full of easy to follow explanations

but there was an unexpected bonus waiting for me, Site Build It.

In the book was a reference to SBI tried it out risk free, the effect

was life changing with information that inspired and motivated me

to build my own Keyword based website using tools provided by SBI.

I joined up to SBI straight away.

methods,realising what mistakes I had been making previously.
